You’re in the right place.
If you’re a teen struggling with anxiety, depression, or a sense of hopelessness, you may feel lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to turn next.
Life feels heavy, like you’re stuck in a storm that never lets up. You might be looking for someone who can truly listen, understand what it’s like to feel this way, and help you find your way out.
You don’t have to carry this burden alone. Together, we can work to understand what you’re going through and build practical tools to help you cope.
Whether it’s managing overwhelming emotions, navigating complicated relationships, or finding a sense of purpose, therapy can help you regain control and feel more like yourself again.
Here’s how we’ll work together.
In our sessions, we’ll start by focusing on immediate tools you can use to manage your emotions. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I’ll help you develop skills to regulate your emotions, reduce stress, and navigate difficult situations.
We’ll focus on four key areas:
- Mindfulness: Becoming more aware of your thoughts and feelings.
- Distress Tolerance: Learning how to cope with difficult emotions.
- Emotional Regulation: Gaining control over intense feelings.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Improving communication and relationships.
Once you feel more grounded with these tools, we’ll move into Internal Family Systems (IFS). This approach helps you explore the different “parts” of yourself – those that feel stuck, hurt, or overwhelmed.
Together, we’ll work to bring these parts into balance so you can feel more at peace within yourself.
